Home Energy Conservation Program
Receive Up to $5,000 in Rebates for Energy Upgrades
If you live in the Enbridge Gas service area, now is the perfect time to make energy efficiency upgrades to your home because of the Home Energy Conservation Program. Whether it’s new insulation in your attic, a furnace to heat your home in the winter, or new windows to let the sun shine through in the summer, you’re going to save money on more than just your energy bills. You might be eligible for up to $5,000 in rebates! Plus, right now there are additional electrical incentives. It all starts with a visit from a Registered Energy Advisor from Barrier Sciences Group to perform a home energy evaluation.
Home Energy Evaluations: Your Roadmap to Energy Efficiency Rebates
To be eligible for the Home Energy Conservation Program, you need to live in an area serviced by Enbridge Gas. You also need to have a home energy evaluation performed before and after your energy upgrades are installed. The energy evaluations must be performed by a Registered Energy Advisor approved by Enbridge Gas. Barrier Sciences Group, in association with EnviroCentre, are approved advisors by Enbridge Gas. You will receive a rebate for the home energy evaluations, minus HST.
The home energy evaluation provides you with a detailed roadmap of where your home currently stands in terms of energy efficiency, and where it can be with the right energy upgrades. In other words: the best bang for your buck, and the knowledge that some of it will be covered by rebates. When the upgrades have been completed, you will receive a final report on the energy rating of your home. You can hang this on your wall, share it with your friends, and sit down at the end of the day knowing you’re going to be more comfortable, pay less on your energy bills, and feel good about lowering your impact on the environment.
